iTero Scanner

At Papini Dentistry, Dr. Nilou Papini uses the iTero scanner to take impressions of your teeth for Invisalign, crowns, bridges, nightguards, and other cosmetic dental procedures.

The iTero is an intraoral scanning device used to scan the mouths of patients, capturing images to create 3D dental images and accurate physical dental models. This is used to replace traditional putty molds that may be uncomfortable or difficult to handle for patients. This new technology is much less messy, much more efficient, and allows you to see in advance how your new smile will look!

The iTero technology captures complete tooth images via a wand that gently rests on teeth for easy scanning without discomfort. The 3D digital impressions are loaded into the simulator, and the model of the teeth is moved and adjusted based on the scheduled treatment. This way, patients can see in advance how their smile will look.
